This week I interviewed Men's Team Captain Silas DeKalita. Silas is from Clio, MI, a suburb of Flint. He also transferred from Northwood University last year.

Being a senior, are you sad to leave the team after this year?
"Extremely sad, cross country is my life, and this team is my family so it probably will be the hardest thing to do in my life."
What has been your favorite course to run on?
"This was before I came to Central, it was at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, NC, but in Mt. Pleasant my favorite trail to run has been at Deerfield Park"

With Pre-Nationals coming up on Saturday, how confident do you feel?
"Pretty Confident, it's a good opportunity to face competition opportunity to face teams that we have beaten or have lost to before.
